Space 48 scoop top award at the DEAs

We love a good awards do us Space48ers. Not only do they give us chance to show off our smartest attire but it also allows us to relax and unwind. It’s great to share some banter with the team outside of the office. If we ever win at these things, it’s always a real bonus and something that we are humbled by.

Last night saw the finest of national digital talent come together for the annual Digital Entrepreneur Awards in Manchester. Last year we were fortunate enough to be shortlisted for ‚ÄòWeb Development Project of the Year’ for Taps. Imagine our delight this year when we found out we’d been shortlisted for no less than four awards! These included:

E-commerce Developer Of The Year
Best Use Of Mobile (charlottetilbury.com)
Web Development Project Of The Year (charlottetilbury.com)
Digital Business Of The Year – SME

The ceremony was held at the Palace Hotel and was attended by over 200 trendy digital folk. The sponsors of the event were UKFast who put on a great show as always. The judging panel included Phil Jones, MD of Brother UK, Lawrence Jones, CEO of UKFast and Jacqueline Gold, CEO of Ann Summers.

The winners of the night included Code Computerlove, Mothercare, Mando and Lucozade.

Oh, and Space 48.

That’s right folks, we only went and won SME Digital Business of the Year!

Brilliant.

We’re over the moon. This award is testament to everyone who’s part of the Space 48 family and all of our hard work over the past few years.

Well done Space48ers and congratulations to all of the winners and those who were shortlisted.
