We are excited to announce the launch of BigCom DevX – the community-powered event for BigCommerce developers. It will be hosted online on Friday, June 17th, 3-5pm BST.
BigCom DevX is born to bring together a community of BigCommerce developers to share their knowledge and insights on this exciting ecommerce platform.
This online summit will feature short talks and presentations from developers within the community. These lightning talks can cover a range of topics including but not limited to:
- How to wield widgets to power up PageBuilder
- 5 tips to improve Core Web Vitals.
- Using an iPaaS to integrate with an ERP.
- Understanding the ProductSortOrder API
- CheckoutSDK-What
We are looking for BigCommerce focussed developers to share their ideas and experience as part of these talks. Whether it’s a quick tip or a deep dive topic, everyone is welcome to share. You can express your interest in speaking.
Alternatively, if you don’t want to speak but want to learn from others within the network, register for the summit.
Why are we doing this?
BigCommerce is an exciting ecommerce platform going through rapid growth. We want to provide a space for people to share their learnings & approaches, whether they’ve been working with the platform for years or are brand new to it. The aim is to raise the bar of all BigCommerce implementations through personal development.
The idea for BigCom DevX came from our own internal monthly event at Space 48 called DevX where the team come together for a couple of hours to share ideas and experiences. Recent events have included intros to Cloudflare Workers, approaches to data migration, and security considerations in headless implementations. We’ve found this really useful within our own teams and want to share this with the wider community!
